By The Sea Inn & Café was started by Roger and Cordella Burt and has been operating for a number of years. What started as a small café on the water front of King's Point, Newfoundland, soon blossomed into a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.
In the beginning, the café menu was light fare. The talent in the kitchen and the gorgeous location brought in the customers. The menu was expanded to include seafood, steaks, crepes, and much more. The café is now licensed and more outdoor seating has been added. There are now 5 fine guest rooms. Boats can tie up right in front, and kids love to gaze straight down into the water, at starfish, crabs and sea snails. A pottery shop is right across the street.
King's Point is positioning itself as one of the key destinations in Central Newfoundland. King's Point's world-class Alexander Murray Hiking Trail, close proximity to the awesome Rattling Brook Falls, incredibly scenic drives, Humpback Whale Pavilion and local (award winning) pottery shop make for a great few days.
You'll also find gas, ATMs, liquor store, convenience stores and a Canada Post outlet.
Easy to find, King's Point is 12 km off the TCH, on Route 391 (a two hour drive from Corner Brook and a one hour drive from Grand Falls-Windsor).
By The Sea Inn & Café makes for a perfect stop for those travelling across Newfoundland. Our cuisine and genuine hospitality will tell you why the locals also come here so often!
