In addition, we pride ourselves in offering Traditional Newfoundland Specialty Choices! Pea Soup and Dumplings have been a tradition for us Newfoundlanders on Saturdays, and each Saturday it’s offered at By the Sea Café!
On Sunday, it’s our traditional Cooked Dinner (Jigg’s Dinner), complete with doughboys, puddings and all the trimmings! Our Seafood Chowder has earned it’s merit as a very popular item near and far, not to mention our fish cakes and baked beans. Our signature dessert is crepes. We serve bakeapple, partridge berry, blueberry, raspberry and strawberry crepes. Visitors travel from miles away - just for our crepes!!
